A few days before I left Houston, I spent a lot of time in my friends' grandfather's house, which was huge and old and full of charm. At one point I was taking a bath in the jacuzzi tub - slightly less glamorous because it is designed to help bedridden old folks - and John was on the computer in the other room. The bathroom door was open with a sheet hanging in it for privacy. We were listening to music and I could see the outline of John's shoulder through the sheet. It was so intimate, in this really beautiful, platonic way.

Afterwards we talked shit and gossiped and discussed serious things while my hair dried.

Things I worry about everyday:
- knocking out my teeth
- getting lice
- the environment
- my skin hyper-aging
