Recently I’ve shook hands and exchanged names with probably one million people. And it never fails that after I tell them my name, they say, “I probably won’t remember that,” or “I’m horrible with names.” 1) That is pretty rude. They might as well say, "You do not matter to me and I will not exert effort trying to know your name." 2) I have realized: everyone says they are bad at remembering names. Everybody. Nobody ever wants to tout their name-remembering skills, probably as insurance in case they do forget. But I’m just gonna come right out and say it:

I am awesome at remembering names. And I’m proud of it.

I want LiveJournal groupies, there’s really no way around it.
