One great thing about coming back to Texas is the men. Not to oogle, just to enjoy their presence. I met a man today who is a fine example: Golf club button up striped polo shirt, Texas belt, khakis, and my favorite type of dress shoes, the tan ones with the red rubber soles; I dont know their name.
He was raised in Tennessee, worked in Texas, and now lives in South Carolina. He could have talked to me all day long, and I would've let him. That voice!
"What was so different about you and Jay?"
"For starters, he was a lot smarter than me!"
That is the perfect answer that a good ol' boy would give. In that voice, and with those manners and social graces.
Also: I'm a young adult, holla.
