I was just walking around a couple of days ago - actually, I think I was in the bathroom at work - and I realized that no matter how bad your day is, there are millions of people who are having a much much worse day. I try to remember that.
Today there are probably billions of people having a worse day than I am, because I am having a great day. I will think of how to put into words what coming home to Texas* is like -- it's beautiful, mostly. Pittsburgh's got grass, it's got landscaping, but it's not as great. Also: Sunshine! I had forgotten about you!
The worst thing that happened to me today was that I was planning on having waffles for dinner, but someone left the empty waffles box in the freezer. I can deal with that.
* I know this makes me sound crazy, or a stereotype, and I don't care.
